DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
This Filet Mignon is sourced from Australia and it is VERY good, very similar to our G1 Certified USDA Choice but at a lower price point. It is not as premium or marbled, but it is better than what you will find at most supermarkets.
This is the leanest, tender part of the animal, there also isn’t that much of it per steer which is why it's so expensive and coveted. The average steer or heifer provides no more than 500 grams of filet mignon.
We usually do not source non-wagyu beef from Austrralia, but we loved this product so much we added it.. as we feel the price / value is excellent.
Best for: Grilling, Braised, Pan-Seared
Best Cooked: Medium-Rare, Medium
Source: Australia
This product has been aged for 30+ Days to improve tenderness and flavor
This item MIGHT be delivered frozen.

They delivered the wrong size filets, and apologized but took a week to refund the costs for the filets we wanted. They didn't offer any appoligy or coupon or anything for future. The filets we got were only 6 oz and had no good flavors to mention but a weird aftertaste was noticeable. They were consumable, but not even close to a high quality steak.
