Equatorial Shrimp | Wild Caught
These shrimp are wild-caught in the Pacific Ocean a mere 1-2 hours away from the processing facility located in Pedernales, Ecuador. Besides the product being extremely fresh due to the remote coastal location of the facility (it's quite literally surrounded by jungle), there is no contamination from from other facilities.
The processing company is relatively small and is the only one in the area, which provides for a sustainable sourcing process.
The shrimp are headless with the shell and tail attached. This will give them a better concentration of flavor and juiciness throughout.
A serving is 4-8oz, meaning that a bag of 2 pounds will be good anywhere from 4-8 people.
