The Ultimate Cut for Pulled Pork
Pork shoulder, often called Pork Butt or Boston Butt, is the gold standard for slow-cooked pulled pork. This bone-in cut features an ideal balance of fat and connective tissue that breaks down during long, low-temperature cooking to create a delectably tender and flavorful dish. Whether you are making sandwiches, tacos, or serving it solo, the rich marbling ensures every bite is juicy and satisfying.
Heritage Quality: Best in Class
Our Heritage pork is sourced from one of the best pork programs in the US. Unlike commodity pork, these pigs are traditional heritage breeds raised with a focus on ethical sourcing and superior quality. They are fed a high-quality diet and allowed to roam, resulting in exceptional marbling, authentic flavor, and a tender texture that stands out in any recipe. This is premium pork, hand-selected for real marbling and never sourced from commodity programs.

Note: This item may be delivered frozen to ensure peak freshness.

REAL REVIEWS, FROM REAL CUSTOMERS
- Rated 5 out of 5 stars4 months agoPork Shoulder for Potluck
I was able to pick up an 8lb pork shoulder in store to cook for a potluck. The marbling on it was excellent and it was mostly meat vs skin/fat, so it easily fed 10 people and still had leftovers in the day after. Taste was excellent and the manager helped me time the thaw from pickup. Absolutely going to buy from this store again.

I am Italian from Calabria. The region specializes in making sausage and cured meats. My family has been making sausages from generation to generation. By far this is hands down the best pork butt that I have used since my Dad use to make them when I was little. The flavor is amazing and the fat to meat ratio was perfect. I will definitely be buying this pork again for my next batch of sausage.

Great marbeling, amazing flavor. Cooked on an offset with just salt and pepper, wrapped in foil with smoked lard. Amazing pulled pork.

When it comes to pork shoulders, I usually opt for store bought (Costco, Meijer, Jewel). However, since I have had such good experiences from this company, I decide to shell out for their pork shoulder. When I prepped the shoulder, I knew right away that it was really high quality; which was proven when I made a pulled pork sandwiches. The pork had a really good, clean taste, along with good marbling which rendered into the meat. It took hours to smoke, but was worth the wait. I will definitely buy another.
