Whole Oxtail | Wagyu BMS 7+

If you love a good braise, these oxtails are for you. What I love about these Wagyu Oxtail is that they are somewhat large (avg weight of 3 lbs) and they do not come with the really skinny part at the end that is just bone and no meat.
hese are whole oxtails, very nicely cleaned and "ready" to cook. You can cut them raw, just bend it and see where the vertebrae meet and cut through the joint with a paring knife.
Regular Oxtail is usually not graded so to get the quality that Meat N' Bone stands, we decided to only sell Wagyu Oxtail.
Oxtail is meant to be braised slow and low. Seasoning is a good idea...
WHY IS OUR WAGYU BEST IN CLASS?
We work with what we consider to be the best Wagyu program in the US. This program processes a small amount of steers every week (140-175) which allows them to put care into every steer. These Oxtails come from a mid sized family owned company that puts a lot of care into each cut.
We have compared this program to others from major chains and stores, and we find that it consistently tastes better and eats better. This may be because these animals are fed for longer and at a slower phase than what you will find with other wagyu brands. The genetics of their animals are superior as well they’re very selective with the bulls they use from Japan (Japanese Kuroge Tajima bull).

Oxtail Stew Review
I ordered the whole oxtail from Meat N' Bone, as I was looking for specifically that, and the interwebs lead me to these guys. Many, many miles from where they are actually located, I placed an order on a Saturday and received it Tuesday, I believe. Wow. It was ice cold, and we got it right into the fridge. The meat itself was vacuumed sealed and stored in a really nice insulated storage bag, stamped with their logo, and kept properly cold with these really nice ice packs. The bag is reusable. Sweet. We didn't prepare the oxtail until Sunday, and when we broke the vacuum seal, it looked and smelled great. Portioned 'er up and turned it into a Jamaican oxtail stew for my fiancé's 60th birthday. The backstory and my reason for finding Meat N' Bone... the finance' (in a younger, drunken stupor) got a tattoo of his Chinese zodiac- the Ox. It ended up being a pretty relevant tattoo, in terms of the person he evolved into. This year, 2021, happens to be the Year of the Ox, which won't occur for another 12 years. This was my fun way of celebrating his special day. Meat N' Bone came through like champs and we enjoyed a Jamaican Oxtail Stew with fresh meat that melted in our mouths. Thanks, guys! We'll be back.

Omggggg
I do not like fat but I love oxtail. The quality of this meat and fat are superior to anything I’ve ever had. It’s so good that I cooked a pork loin and chicken breast in the left over juices and fat. Wow is all I can say
