DESCRIPTION

These are the eggs you reach for when you want the simple stuff to taste unbelievable.. and these may be the very best eggs money can buy. Looking for those rich, darker yolks full of flavor? Look no further.

Rich, clean, and beautifully golden, our pasture-raised eggs are sourced from Lake Meadow Naturals in Ocoee, Floridaβ€”an egg farm built for chef-level consistency and true farm flavor.Β

These hens are grown the right way and all come from ONE farm. That's the beautiful thing. They are raised happy, fed an all-vegetarian high quality diet. We never use antibiotics, steroids or animal bi-products.

What β€œPasture-Raised” Means Here

Hens have outdoor access to roam and forage on pasture, with shelter and daily care, then a supplemental, balanced feed to keep nutrition consistent. That pasture-forward lifestyle is what gives you the deeper yolk color and the β€œwow” factor in the panβ€”while still delivering dependable performance for cooking and baking.

About the Farm: Lake Meadow Naturals (Ocoee, FL)

Lake Meadow Naturals is led by farmer Dale Volkert, who grew up on a Wisconsin dairy farm and received his first flock of chickens as a 4-H project on May 20, 1960. After moving to Central Florida in 2000, he found the Lake Meadow property and started raising cage- and hormone-free eggs. The farm’s growth accelerated when Chef Kathleen Blake (then at Primo at the JW Marriott; now Chef/Owner of The Rusty Spoon) connected with Dale to put local eggs on the menuβ€”helping spark demand from more restaurants and chefs across Florida. Today, Lake Meadow Naturals spans 100+ acres and continues its farm-to-table mission with a focus on humane, clean practices.Β

Where Chefs Use Them

Lake Meadow Naturals publicly lists restaurant and hotel buyers. Restaurants on that list include Urban on Plant Kitchen & Bar (Winter Garden), Bay 13 Brewery and Kitchen (Coral Gables), The Pink Salamander (Orlando), Antica Pizzeria & Market (Altamonte Springs), Elaine’s (Apopka), and more. Hotels on the list include Hilton Bonnet Creek, Waldorf Astoria (Bonnet Creek), Primo at JW Marriott, Citron at JW Marriott, Hyatt Grand Cypress, and others. (Accounts evolve over time; this is what the farm publicly publishes.)

In addition, a Serious Eats feature notes the eggs reaching restaurant menus broadlyβ€”and mentions Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink in Miami as an example.Β

Nutrition Notes (Real Benefits, No Hype)

Eggs are naturally nutrient-dense and a great source of high-quality protein, plus key nutrients like choline and antioxidants lutein and zeaxanthin. Many health sources note eggs can fit into a healthy diet for most people when eaten in moderation.Β

You’ll also hear that pasture-raised eggs can be higher in certain nutrients (like omega-3s and vitamin D). Some studies do suggest differences, but levels can vary based on diet and farm practicesβ€”so we treat this as β€œpossible,” not promised, unless the carton is specifically labeled/enriched.

Freshness

Lake Meadow Naturals states their eggs β€œwill last 30+days.” Keep refrigerated for best quality.Β

Farm Transparency

Lake Meadow Naturals is a working farm with an on-site farm market, and they also offer guided farm tours by scheduleβ€”part of their focus on educating the community about where food comes from.Β
