These MASSIVE tiger prawns are wild caught off the coast of Africa. They are U4; one of the largest denominations sold commercially. African tiger shrimp are considered the 'Tomahawk steak of the sea.'
They are frozen whole, head and tail on. Great for creative cooks or to cook on the grill alongside a Tomahawk steak.
These tiger shrimp present a buttery texture and firmness that makes them ideal for sautéing, BBQ'ing, shrimp cocktails, or anything else you can think of.
100% natural - no chemicals or preservatives.
HOW TO THAW?
Overnight in the refrigerator. Keep it simple.

I ordered this during winter, so it arrived in the best condition possible. Growing up on an island, we know what fresh, good-condition seafood looks like. This arrived in very good condition; fresh, mostly gray, not much orange. I'd say one prawn is good for one person. I received four prawns in one order. Its worth the price for me.

This was our first experience with these. We grilled them and were pleasantly surprised. Growing up in Florida I’ve eaten all manner of seafood. These have the flavor of lobster, but a softer texture. Very delicious!
