Restaurant-Quality Wagyu Carpaccio at Home
Experience the luxury of a high-end steakhouse appetizer without leaving your kitchen. Our Wagyu Beef Carpaccio is crafted from premium domestic Wagyu steaks, sliced paper-thin to deliver exceptional tenderness and a rich, buttery flavor profile. Unlike many restaurants that use lower-grade beef for their carpaccio, we prioritize superior quality, ensuring every bite melts in your mouth.
Each 5oz portion arrives vacuum-sealed and frozen to lock in freshness. It thaws in under 15 minutes, making it the perfect effortless appetizer for entertaining, special occasions, or a gourmet treat at home.
Sourcing & Quality
At Meat Nβ Bone, we believe in transparency and trusted sourcing. Our domestic Wagyu is hand-selected for its rich marbling and consistent quality. By using high-end steaks rather than commodity beef, we provide a carpaccio experience that stands above the standard. The result is a delicate, savory appetizer that showcases the natural flavor of the beef.
Preparation & Serving
Serving Wagyu Carpaccio is simple. Thaw the vacuum-sealed portion under refrigeration or on the counter for 15 minutes. Arrange the slices on a plate and garnish with your favorite toppings. Classic pairings include:
- Arugula and shaved Parmesan
- Capers and extra virgin olive oil
- Lemon zest and cracked black pepper
- Mustard aioli or truffle oil
Shipping & Freshness
Your carpaccio is shipped frozen in our premium cold-chain packaging. Please note that during transit, the meat may oxidize slightly and appear darker or greyish if it touches other items in the box. This is a natural reaction to lack of oxygen and contact, and it does not affect the flavor or quality. Once exposed to air, the meat will bloom back to its natural color.
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes this carpaccio different from restaurant versions?
Most restaurants use lower-grade beef to keep costs down. We use premium domestic Wagyu steaks, sliced paper-thin for superior tenderness, marbling, and a buttery flavor that you won't find in standard carpaccio.
How do I thaw and serve the carpaccio?
Keep the product frozen until ready to use. Thaw under refrigeration or on the counter for about 15 minutes. Once thawed, arrange on a plate and garnish with olive oil, lemon, arugula, or capers.
Is the beef safe to eat raw?
Yes. Our Wagyu beef is sourced from trusted domestic programs and handled with strict hygiene standards. It is intended to be eaten raw as carpaccio.
Why does the meat look darker when it arrives?
Vacuum-sealed meat often appears darker due to the lack of oxygen. Additionally, slight oxidation may occur during shipping if the package touches other items. This is normal and does not impact flavor or safety. The meat will bloom to a brighter red once exposed to air.
What is the shelf life of the carpaccio?
Keep frozen until ready to use. Once thawed, consume within 24 hours for the best quality and freshness.
Can I refreeze the carpaccio if I don't use it all?
We recommend consuming the product once thawed. Refreezing may affect the texture and quality of the thin slices.
What are the best pairings for Wagyu Carpaccio?
Classic pairings include arugula, shaved Parmesan, capers, extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, and cracked black pepper. For a richer taste, try a mustard aioli or a drop of truffle oil.
How is the carpaccio packaged for shipping?
Each 5oz portion is vacuum-sealed and shipped frozen with dry ice and insulated packaging to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.

This was really delicious. Paper thin and super fresh. I made an arugula salad with a mustard vinaigrette and a lemon Mayo spread which I drizzled on top. Will definitely get again!

Unfortunately, unless it's to be used as the base for a salad on the same plate it's purchased on, then don't bother with this item. The quality of the meat itself was pretty nice, but, as expected, it thaws too quickly to be uses any other way :/

Thinly sliced carpaccio was amazing. It was tender and came ready to serve. It also thawed out quickly. I would recommend trying it. Garnish with field greens and your favorite cheese and serve.
