This is hands-down the most popular beef in Brazil. Picanha (pronounced pee-KAHN-yah) is known states-side as Top Sirloin Cap, Fat On... and the fat is what makes all the difference.

This cut packs a lot of flavor and offers one of the best price-value proposition. While Picanha is best cooked in open flames (charcoal or wood), it can also be cooked with gas or in the oven.

This product has been DRY aged for 14+ days to improve flavor and tenderness and WET aged between 30-50 days. This steak is hand cut and hand trimmed.

Epic

This cut is as good as it gets. Tender as a filet but beefy flavor like a strip or ribeye. When cut correctly the fat and meat go together for an amazing flavor.

Sirloin Cap - Picanha

I ordered the Prime grade Picanha cut on Wednesday, and the shipment was delivered to my office (200 miles away) the next day before noon. Wow, I'll be taking advantage of that convenience again in the future. It's fantastic to buy from a vendor that offers a great variety of cuts and grades that the local grocers don't generally carry. The unit prices, including delivery, seem reasonable as compared to local grocers' prices for inferior grade cuts.

Amazing picanha

The wet aging really takes this prime picanha to the next level. Perfect for smoking with oak and then reverse searing on my Kamado Joe.

Superb quality

I prepared the picanha in a gas grill. The meat was very tasty, I didn’t trim any fat cause it had the right amount to add flavor

Excellent service and quality!

German took time on the phone with me and modified an order I had placed - he was great! I received 2 Picanha - 1 Prime the other Wagyu. They were both fantastic and I’ll be ordering again. I’ve only been able to get this in Choice locally and there is no comparison. I also just had 2 Wagyu versions delivered to my parents. They’re excited to Sous Vide and sear!
