Juicy and tender ribeye.
This ribeye was top of the line. When cooking my husband was amazed and said he saw very little shrinkish. The steak was tender and flavorful will definitely buy again.

I don't recommend this product
Not the same amazing steak that it used to be.
I bought this steak a while back. It was from Uruguay and was truly delicious. The price used to be $28.99. Since then, they not only changed the supplier, but it's no longer from Uruguay and they increased the price for what is (to me) an inferior piece with less flavor and tenderness. It's still a decent cut of meat, but it seems like they pulled a fast one and I'm not sure if people realized it. Surprisingly, despite this change, they left the same identical photos intact. Bring back the old cut and I'll adjust my review. It was far juicer, more flavorful, more tender, and cheaper too.

Meat N' Bone
Hey Dom,
I am not sure how you could compare both steaks as we switched providers over a year ago. That said... we did not pull a "fast one". The Uruguayan meats came from the Solis farms and while they could be VERY good, the consistency in quality, marbling and flavor was not there. Some of them would have the right marbling, some would look like USDA choice. That is a result of the grading standards (or lack) in Uruguay.
This Australian wagyu comes from a higher end program, the marbling standards are defined by the government who has excellent grading system (better than the US, actually), it is much more consistent in terms of quality and it is actually BETTER. That is why it is slightly more expensive.
Beef is a commodity, you pay for what you get.
