Over the past 2 years we have been laser focused on three things: Sourcing meats of the HIGHEST quality, logistics to deliver fresh product on time and customer service.
Growth has brought us some challenges, but we have navigated through it all. Twenty four months ago we focused on BEEF. Today we sell Beef, Pork, Poultry, Game Meats, Premium Sausages and some cured meats. Now I'm pleased to announced our expansion into Seafood. Today we announce the launch of Fish N' Bone.
We are starting small with a few products that we feel own up to our standards of quality. It certainly has NOT been easy. The world of seafood is quite different than that of butchery. This is not something we are rushing, we have been working on this for over 6 months, grabbing knowledge from subject matter experts.
We are starting with 9 products, all of them the best of the finest quality that offer a very good price value proposition. Products you usually cannot find at your local grocery shop or even online.
Our Salmon offering starts with Ora King, an award winning Salmon program out of beautiful New Zealand. Chefs around the world are OBSESSED with it, calling it the "Wagyu of the sea". It has been served by renowned chefs such as likes of Daniel Boulud, Nobu Matsuhisa, and Thomas Keller.
Next up we partnered up with a nice program out of Chile to bring high quality Atlantic Salmon. Not as premium as Ora King, but the best price/value at a lower price point. Let's call it the USDA G1 Choice of fish.... this by the way, is sushi grade fish.
We round up our Salmon offering with Coho. A "milder" tasting Salmon perfect for those who want a subtler flavor. It is also GREAT on the grill.
For Tuna, we followed a similar approach. Focusing on #01 AAA rated Tuna wild caught in the Caribbean. Our Tuna Steaks are center cut, blood line removed. The highest quality tuna that can be found. Hand cut and hand trimmed.
As a Tuna lovers, we could not pass the opportunity to offer Tuna Saku (Tuna Blocks), also rated AAA / #1 for those looking to eat sashimi or tuna-tataki or even seared Tuna at home.
As #GrillMasters, we wanted a whole fish to grill... and as our first offering we chose Red Snappers wild-caught in the coasts of Venezuela. Home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Ideal for the grill or oven.
For those wanting something similar but without head, bones and fins, we turned to Mexico's hog-snappers, which are rich and full of flavor... wild caught using hooks and lines (old school). Another fish caught using hooks and lines is our Yellowtail Snapper, from our very own Florida Keys of which we make beautiful 6oz filets.
To round off our seafood offering we brought Branzino from Turkey and some nice thick, center cut Caribbean Groupers.
The Caribbean grouper is awesome, a clean, center cut "Steak" of fish. If you want to feel like at a high end restaurant... this is your go to.
We are actively researching suppliers and tasting new products. Our Fish N' Bone lineup will continue to grow. But for now... there are plenty of new exciting products for you to try.. from the same quality you know... Meat N' Bone quality!
