DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
Rustic, bold, and deeply flavorful — our Wild Boar St. Louis Spare Ribs bring a gourmet twist to a barbecue classic. Each rack is individually packaged and sold by weight, giving you full control over portion and preparation.
Truly Wild, Naturally Raised
These wild boars are sourced directly from trappers in the Texas Hill Country, where they roam free across rugged landscapes. Humanely trapped and transported under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian, the animals are harvested at a species-specific facility designed to ensure minimal stress and maximum quality.
Unlike conventional pork, wild boar are entirely free-range — never given hormones, steroids, or antibiotics. Their diet of nuts, fruits, roots, and tubers imparts a unique depth of flavor you simply won’t find in domestic pork.
What Makes Wild Boar Ribs Different?
Expect a slightly darker, leaner meat with a flavor that’s both nutty and sweet, yet more complex than traditional pork. The St. Louis cut provides meaty, uniform ribs with just the right amount of fat for tenderness and flavor.
Cooking Inspiration
-
Low & Slow BBQ: Smoke or grill over hardwood for ribs that melt off the bone with a wild, smoky edge.
-
Braised Ribs: Simmer gently with wine, herbs, and root vegetables for rustic comfort food.
-
Bold Glazes: Pair with sweet, tangy sauces (maple, apple cider, or pomegranate molasses) to complement the natural richness.
Why You’ll Love It
-
100% wild, never farmed — true free-range meat
-
A healthier, leaner alternative to pork ribs
-
Distinctive flavor profile — nutty, slightly sweet, and full-bodied
-
Ideal for adventurous grillers, BBQ enthusiasts, and gourmet cooks

My wife and I are not novice cooks. Always looking for the next amazing dish to cook. My youngest son wanted wild boar ribs for his birthday. Decided on a apple cider/honey glaze with a parsnips and mushroom stew. Slow cooked the ribs for 3 hours, turned out amazing. Used all fresh seasoning, cut by hand. Will definitely look for the next meat from MeatnBone. Now the one bad star...was notified the day of delivery that they were out of stock, 2 days before my son's birthday. Was told another week ended up being a week an half. Can not complain about the meat, just amazing. Will definitely order our next cooking adventure from MeatnBone.

MeatnBone has done it AGAIN! We have had two Suckling Piglets, The Porchetta and now the Wild Boar Ribs. Next up is the Iberico Baby Back Ribs.
