In recent years, Venison has become widely popular due to being a good source of many vitamins and minerals including riboflavin, niacin and iron as well as important amino acids.
These Venison filet mignons come from one of the world's best programs and are beautifully butchered so you can cook them perfectly!
We are cooking this steak using the Victoria Signature Series skillet. They are built using a proprietary Spherrous Iron Technology which makes this skillet literally unbreakable. It's available in a soft finish with "skin" texture which is optimal to hold seasoning and perform well in a wide range of temperatures. Also available in a polished finish, with the same approach and polished by hand.
1. Pat the steak dry.
2. Season filet with Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper.
3. Let it rest for 1 hour.
4. Heat a cast-iron skillet on medium-high heat.
5. Cook for 1 minute per side.
6. Remove from heat and allow to rest for 5 minutes.
7. Carve, serve and enjoy!
