A unique taste

I purchased this sausage to try as an appetizer for the holidays and it did not disappoint. It has a unique texture and snap with a great taste that we paired with spiced black mission figs in a red wine vinegar reduction.

Disappointing

All those wonderful ingredients listed in the title "Elk with Apple, Pear and Port Wine" and I couldn't taste any of them as the seasoning was overpowering. Tried to eat one, gave up and chucked the rest.
