Just like our awesome Baby Back Ribs, these Spare Pork Ribs are different enough to be sold by Meat N' Bone. Spareribs are the meaty ribs cut from the belly of the animal after the belly is removed.

St Louis Style ribs are usually grilled, instead of cooked under indirect heat like Baby Back Ribs.

That said... Baby Back Ribs and St Louis ribs are NOT that different, they actually come from the rib of the animal. The St Louis ribs will be larger and meatier.. the baby back smaller and juicier.

Our Heritage pork has ever given antibiotics, has been fed a 100% vegetarian, no added hormones, crate free, and has no artificial ingredients.

 

OUR PORK PROGRAM

We only work with THE BEST Pork Programs in the US. Our Baby Back Ribs come form Niman Ranch. Our hogs are humanely raised on small, family farms in the Midwest.

  • Heritage breeds raised with traditional, sustainable farming methods
  • Raised outside on pasture or in deeply bedded pens
  • Only fed a 100% vegetarian diet
  • Never given hormones or antibiotics – EVER
  • Raised with Care®
  • Certified Humane

Niman has an unwavering commitment to purchase all hogs from their farmers…they also pay a premium above market value to all these farmers. That way the farmers make an honest living, can afford to raise the animals to a higher standard and don’t have to worry about euthanizing hogs when there’s no demand/no ability to process them.

My order came very quickly and it was package expertly. It was in an air tight plastic bag and then fitted inside an unsalaried bag.

Unbelievable

These were very very good. I wasn’t as impressed with the iberico baby back’s but I certainly am with these! I will be ordering them again shortly. I am so happy to have found meat n bone

St Louis Ribs

Out of the package the ribs smelled like sweet, fresh pork, and were ready for the grill/smoker. There was no trimming to do! To be honest, I was skeptical these ribs might have a better flavor than local butcher/ market pork. Applied a rub, wrapped them in foil, and cooked at about 250 F for 2 hours, then opened foil, drained the liquid and cooked at about 350F for another 40 minutes. Brushed on a little BBQ sauce during the last 20 minutes. My wife and I sat down to eat, and we couldn't stop smiling after the first bite. Terrific tasting ribs that have spoiled us forever. Will buy again.
