Easter is a time for celebration, to be with people you love, care for and cherish. How to mark the occasion? We would say by celebrating with a special Easter menu, using high quality proteins from Meat N' Bone. Here are some ideas:
ROASTED LAMB LEG
Roast leg of lamb is a classic Easter dish, and for good reason. Lamb is a high-quality protein that is both tender and flavorful. Leg of lamb is a leaner cut of meat, with a mild flavor and tender texture. .
Quick & simple recipe: Start by rubbing the lamb with a mixture of garlic, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Roast it in the oven until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Serve it with a side of roasted vegetables or a mint jelly for a traditional Easter feast.
Leg of lamb is ideal for roasting or grilling and can be cooked to a variety of temperatures, from rare to well done. It's also a popular choice for Easter dinners Note that you can also just smoke the leg of lamb or even grill it... low and slow is the way to go!
ROASTED LAMB SHOULDER
Lamb shoulder is a little bit more difficult to cook than the leg of lamb (which is very easy). It is a slightly tougher cut of meat with more connective tissue and fat. However, it's also more flavorful than leg of lamb, with a richer, deeper taste.
Because of its toughness, lamb shoulder is best suited for slow cooking methods, such as braising or roasting at low temperatures for several hours. This allows the connective tissue to break down and become tender, resulting in a delicious and succulent dish.

GRILLED SALMON
If you're looking for a lighter option, grilled salmon is a great choice. Salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for good health. To prepare this dish, marinate the salmon in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, and herbs such as dill or parsley. Grill it over high heat until it's cooked through. Serve it with a side of asparagus or a green salad for a fresh and healthy Easter meal.
Our Salmon Sides are ideal for the whole family, but you could also do with filets.
